WELCOME to the webpage of Physiotherapy Programme of the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin. You will be informed of the elements of Physiotherapy as a component part of the overall health care delivery system at all levels. Physiotherapy entails Preventive, curative aspects of health care as well as health promotion and more importantly MEDICAL REHABILITATION essential to returning individuals who have suffered loss of function or impaired function due to INJURIES or other non-communicable diseases to optimal functioning. PHYSIOTHERAPY is the nucleus of REHABILITATION SERVICES that ensures people living with disabling conditions are able to be integrated back into the mainstream of global human community or Society. Currently, the physiotherapy programme, a five-year degree, leads to the acquisition of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.PT).
