History

The Department of Physiotherapy curriculum was approved by the 245th Senate on the 24th of February , 2015.

The Programme is committed to producing highly competent physiotherapists that will meet the acceptable standards of practice in any part of the world. This principle is based on the Vision of University of Ilorin that is set on being an International Centre of Excellence in Learning, research, probity and service to humanity. In addition the curriculum captures the Mission of University of Ilorin which is meant to provide a world class environment for learning, research and community service. The team of lecturers involved in the training includes accomplished well travelled academics and clinicians with versatile professional skills across all the clinical specialties of Physiotherapy
